Legambiente Molise APS, within the framework of the ENGAGE project, organizes a workshop focused on “Marine Protected Areas: Stakeholder Involvement and Sustainability”
On Friday, April 11, 2025, at the University of Molise in Termoli, will be held the Molise event included in the project Engage – Enhancing protection of nature and biodiversity of the “South Adriatic Ionian Strait” in the programme area – funded by the European Union under the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme 2021-2027. The main objective of the ENGAGE project is to contribute to the protection of the environment in order to ensure a sustainable development of the area of the “Southern Adriatic Strait”, considered an area of Ecological or Biological Relevance between Italy, Albania and Montenegro, through the implementation of multidisciplinary actions and exchange of good practices.
Among these is certainly the active involvement of stakeholders that will be the theme of the discussion on Friday. Two working groups will also be organised on topics such as the protection of biodiversity and the sustainable use of marine resources.
Interested parties are invited to register for the event by 10 April 2025, through this link, selecting the option of participation in presence or online. English translation will be available during the event.
